1. Alan Sousa percussionist, arranger and composer from one of the most percussive cities in the world, Salvador de Bahía (Brazil). With a unique and virtuoso musicality of the drums, he began his musical career in percussive street groups and in 1998 he had the opportunity to play in Carnaval with the most famous percussion group in Brazil, Olodum. Later he had the pleasure of playing and sharing scenarios with great Brazilian artists such as Gilberto Gil, Armandinho,Jaques Morelembaun, Carlinhos Brown, Daniela Mercury, Ivete Sangalo, Luiz Caldas, Munir Hossn, among others. In 2005 he lands in Barcelona with the aim of broadening his musical horizons, at which point Alan Sousa began to tour around the world playing with several great artists such as Carlos Nuñez, Javier Ruibal, Javier Muguruza, Marina (Singer of Ojos de Brujo), Electrorumbaiao, Lenacay, Zulu 9.30,Childo Thomás... 

   In 2013 he is invited by the great Catalan musician Angel Pereira, Artistic Director of the International Festival of the Pyrenees (FIP), to give a workshop of Afro-Brazilian rhythms together with the musician Alex Acuña, one of the most famous percussionists worldwide and also the great musician David Freedman. One of the latest projects of Alan Sousa has been the recording of the album "Barcelona Percussion Project" Together with the musicians Mel Seme and Angel Pereira where three different cultures unite bringing the percussion and the rhythm to a place without borders. Alan Sousa continues imparting workshops of Afro-Brazilian rhythms all over the world carrying the percussive wealth of his land, Salvador de Bahia
